HR Systems Analyst

Term: 15 Month Contract

The Opportunity:
The HR Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in collecting, structuring, analyzing and reporting on both Learning and HR processes and data. Key competencies include data analysis, business acumen, relationship management and HR/Learning systems experience. To accomplish this role successfully, you must possess strong communication skills and be able to collaborate with a variety of departments and cross-functional team within the organization. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Manage the configuration of the LMS, including researching, piloting and implementing new functionality to meet the evolving business needs
• Manage the functionality of the Payroll/HR system, including the flow of data between other HR and operational business tools
• Design and configure system reports in multiple systems
• Ensure that the integration between the LMS, IT and Payroll/HR systems are seamless
• Maintain the integrity of the data stored in each system and ensure that appropriate data is available to make key operational business decisions
• Work alongside the learning administrator to troubleshoot technical and user generated issues; provide resolution and recommendations to system configuration, learning and business processes
• Respond to HR and Operations Data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing and reporting relevant data from various sources
• Provide “top tier” support for system issues; provide guidance, support and training for others involved in first level support

Key Qualifications:
• Strong planning and organizational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience with LMS, preferably Cornerstone on Demand, along with experience in other HR-based systems
• Experience with Payroll and HR systems, preferably Ultimate or Workday
• Distilling complex technical requirements to simple concepts for a wide audience of system users
• Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbally
• Able to present in a clear and direct manor
• Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information
• Experience with data stewardship and data integrity
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting, metrics and data validation
• Collaborate across the organization and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think ‘outside the box’
• Process analysis and problem-solving skills
