Apprenticeship Job Tax Credit
A new non-refundable Apprenticeship Job Creation Tax Credit will be created to encourage employers to hire new apprentices in eligible trades. It will be equal to 10% of salaries and wages paid to qualifying apprentices to a maximum credit of $2,000 per apprentice for a particular taxation year.Click here to return to the 2006 Federal Budget Tax Changes index.
