Block Builders: Strengthening Our Community
At H&R Block, we believe every Canadian deserves their Maximum Refund. Lower income taxpayers may qualify for benefits and credits but they can only access them by filing a tax return. It can be an intimidating process but the tax credits could make a big difference. For three years, H&R Block Canada has been working with community groups like the United Way and Food Banks of Canada to help lower income Canadians file a tax return and receive the benefits they are entitled to claim.
In 2010, H&R Block Canada donated more than $1,000,000 worth of tax preparation to participating United Way organizations and Food Bank clients across Canada. Every return in the program is prepared by a trained tax professional and is covered by the Block Advantage.
H&R Block offices across Canada also support local food banks through the national Block Hunger food drive. Our tax professionals and clients are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items during National Tax Advice Week to help support food banks in their communities.

Since 2005, H&R Block Canada has been a proud sponsor of Team Kevin Martin (www.teamkevinmartin.com) and their competitive curling season. Through hard work and determination, the team won the Gold Medal at the Vancouver Olympic Games in 2010. They continue to compete and win at curling's highest level.
In 2010, we added Team Jennifer Jones (www.teamjenniferjones.com) to the H&R Block team and we are proud to support their quest to be the best women's curling team in the world.
Team H&R Block
Established in 2006, Team H&R Block is a semi-pro racing team committed to promoting cycling across Canada. The team features young riders from the National Team and Provincial Champions who want to race at elite levels.
