H&R Block, a leader in the tax preparation industry, is looking for an entry level financial analyst to join its fast-paced, dynamic team in Edmonton, Alberta.
The successful candidate will assist in the development and analysis of various projects for the tax services’ divisional operations, namely:
- assisting in the development and reviewing of various financial reports to analyze performance of different office types and financial results.
- conducting internal financial analysis of labour recaps;
assisting in the execution of the budgeting process for district and regional operations; and - assisting in performing monthly analyses of financial statements, budget comparisons and forecasting.
These skills are acquired through the completion of an Accounting Certificate or equivalent work experience.
The successful candidate will possess:
- proficiency with spreadsheet software;
- excellent communication skills; and
- ability to work independently.
