What should I do if my NETFILE account is locked?
You’ll need to contact the Canada Revenue Agency at 1-800-959-8281 and request to speak to the NETFILE help desk to get your account unlocked.
Do I need a NETFILE Access Code, and where do I find it?
The NETFILE Access Code (NAC) is an 8-character code that is used as an added security measure by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to verify your identity when you NETFILE your return. It can be found on your last year’s Notice of Assessment. However, when filing with our software, this is not a mandatory field. If you don’t have your code, you can still continue to file without it.
